Increasing horsepower and torque is as simple as pushing a button with Hypertech Max Energy Programmer. You simply plug the Power Programmer into the under dash diagnostic port plug, answer a series of Yes/No questions, and the Power Programmer does the rest for you. The Power Programmer is not a chip that you insert into a ECM or ECU. It is a hand held automotive tuning computer. The programmer allows truck owners to customize their vehicle's computer to aid in hauling heavy loads and trailer towing. The factory installed RPM rev limiter can be adjusted, on some Hypertech units to extend the engine's operating range and the top speed limiter can be raised.
